Currently selling new for 1380.00 – grab a bargain.All of my years of ownership and trying various brands and speakers led me to these, which I consider a holy grail. For most, these are the end of the line. There are perhaps only a couple other options beyond these for me, but I consider the next upgrade from these only to build your own speakers. This is a long description because of how passionate I am about these speakers and I think the information and my opinions will help those who do not know.
Very regrettably selling to help fund a new sofa for my cinema room. I am happily keeping all my other M6 and will be re-purchasing a pair of M6 as soon as I can.
THX ULTRA certified. Highly regarded amongst home cinema and AV enthusiasts, I cannot speak highly enough about the XTZ M6, they are the best speakers I have ever owned.

Overall when assessing the sound quality and how well these XTZ Cinema Series speakers work together I am struggling to think of any negatives at all. The sheer soundscape they are capable of producing and the way they are so well matched to create a cohesive soundstage, that just melts away and does so on a few levels, makes you wonder why you would want the new 3D sound formats. There are a few occasions when you just hear a well put together speaker and sound system and things makes sense and you are transported away without noticing. That is what the XTZs were capable of doing for me in my system and it was the cohesive nature of the performance that nailed it for me. They go loud, they are dynamic and they can get in your face when required. However, at no time were they offensive, sibilant or harsh and were able to be driven by even the most modest of budget AVR without any issues. (Obviously try and drive them too hard without adequate power and they will start to get brittle and fall apart like any other speaker will).
I have tried so very hard to stay away from clichs when putting together my thoughts on these speakers, because it is more subjective than reviewing a projector or TV, but at the same time it is important to try and get across the emotional nature of a product that does something so good it re-ignites the passion for the hobby. The XTZ Cinema Series are very, very good and had me hunting out demo scenes old and new to play about with and I think that says it all”.
My experience of the XTZ M6 has been the exact same as Phil’s. I also demoed the Arendal 1723 but did not think much of them in comparison. My background is working from and listening through flat response monitors, so I pride flat response and accurate speakers, which these are. Please see the final photo for a frequency reading of the M6. The first time I heard stereo music through the M6, my jaw dropped. They are more like monitors in this regard, to me.
I ran these in a 7.1.2 with the XTZ M6 all the way around. This pair is currently performing rear surround sound duties in my home cinema. Very regrettably selling to help fund a new sofa for my cinema room. I am happily keeping all my other M6 and will be re-purchasing a pair of M6 as soon as I can.
I think these speakers are a masterpiece of sound and design. Well worth reading up on them if you have not.
Currently 1,380.00 brand new. X1 pair for sale. One speaker that has a few, light cosmetic only chips, as photoed. These cannot be seen from a distance. The other speaker is like new.
