For sale one pair of Wharfedale Linton 2 vintage speakers circa late 70′ early 80’s passive speakers, rated at 20watts RMS. CASH ON COLLECTION PLEASE from Somerset .
These classic vintage Wharfedale speakers, have a warm, rounded and punchy bottom end with crisp tops and surprisingly clear midrange for a 2way speaker. They are a pair and have the matching serial numbers printed on the cone mounting board behind the fabric front grills.
The woofer foam gaskets have been replaced as the originals had unfortunately fallen apart with age as they have a tendency to do on speakers of age.
The teak veneered cabinets are in pretty good shape to say the least especially baring in mind they are around 40 years old. There are a few dings and scratches to the veneer but no major gouges or chunks of wood missing from the enclosures (see pics).
Any questions then please get in touch. Buyer can hear speakers working before paying and taking them away. This is your chance to own a very well presented pair of vintage speakers from when Wharfedale speakers meant quality.
