VPI – TRT HR-X Turntable – Ex Hi-Fi Show RRP 10000.00 .
The main picture is what this turntable looks like (from VPI) as I have never assembled it and only opened the boxes to get photographs of it.
I have owned this turntable for over 9 years and it has remained boxed up and never been used.
It was purchased from a dealer (no longer in business) who had it exhibited at a Hi-Fi show. I dont believe they used it but the show only lasted a few days so it has had extremely low usage if thats the case.
It comes with a JMW 12.5 (or 12.6in) arm together with instruction and set up manual and all the original packaging.
This is what Stereophile said in their summing up review dated 28 May 2006 which incidentally it came second to a $100000.00 turntable:
It isn’t a perfect turntable, but it’s the best I’ve ever had in my system, and I’d be shocked if it’s not among the few very best turntables available today.
The boxes (which are original) are very heavy and I would not feel comfortable shipping them through the ordinary mail system so would be more than happy to come to some arrangement on delivery in the UK, outside the UK would require someone to either visit the UK to meet me or make their own arrangements.
You are also quite welcome to pick the item up in person.
I am open to offers but it is a 10000.00 turntable so you would be having a great deal and lastly apologies for the pictures as you can gather I am no David Bailey.
