VINTAGE PHILIPS RECORD PLAYER – SPARES / REPAIR (GOOD HEADSHELL)
As pictured, an old valve amp. Philips record player, for spares / repair.It powers up and the amplifier is working but the deck needs attention. It runs but the speeds are out and the auto need attention.The headshell works as it has been tested on another unit. I can see inside the pick up wire needs re-soldering as it came off when I lifted the deck out. The amp has the correct gentle hum as the volume is increased and the tone and volume knobs turn as they should. The headshell will require a better or new stylus.No tall spindle but the stub is there for playing records individually, the mat is hard.Although a little grubby in appearance it has a thick good quality covering so should be able to be scrubbed to excellent condition, with just a small chip (pictured).Sold as NOT working and sold as seen.No returns. I am unable to offer collection due to the current situation so postage with courier only.
