Cambridge Audio R50 SpeakersHuge Transmission Line Design
These monster speakers date back to the early 70s, when Cambridge Audio was an independent company, Designed by B. J. Webb, these legendary transmission line loudspeakers are in full working order and sound exactly as they should – simply stunning, with wonderful clarity and the deepest, most natural bass youre ever likely to hear.
Physical condition is very presentable. The grilles are original and undamaged. There are a few minor blemishes on the real wood veneer but nothing at all nasty.
These are really huge and move a LOT of air. Please do not consider these if you are going to place them in a very small room. They require space in order to perform to their full potential.They have been adapted to take banana plugs but you can remove it and just use bare wire if requiredEach speaker measures approx 110cm High x 45cm Deep x 33cm Wide and they each weigh approx 40kg! Luckily they are on castors so moving them once they are stood up is made a bit easier!They are for collection only, you can arrange your own courier at your risk but in terms of packing the best I can do is wrap them in bubble wrap. I could possibly deliver them within a reasonable distance if my fuel is covered but please ask before bidding. I have no intention in driving for hours! ha haPlease be aware that if an item is not pictured or listed in the description then please do not assume it is present, if in doubt just ask.
