Very Rare Vintage Technics SH-8040 Space Dimension Controller with BBD Echo.
This fantastic and extremely rare vintage Technics Space Dimension Controller has been fully tested and cleaned and is in excellent working condition.
Physically this is in good condition but as shown in the photos this does have some marks to the top.
This is something I’ve never come across before in the past which is odd as I though I had played with everything Technics have ever released.
I did a little research online and there really isn’t much information on this other than it is “Technics Space Dimension Controller SH-8040 is a effect unit for electronic room acoustics and ambience simulation”.
It only has a 3 adjusts, one for ambience, one for echo and one for Mic volume level.
The cool thing about it is the 3D effect display as shown in the photos.
Unfortunately I don’t have the manual but with so few adjustments it isn’t too difficult to figure out.
This is fitted with an adjust voltage selector so can be used in all countries with the correct plug adaptor (not included).
