Some were already very vintage when acquired , but all have been in dry storage since 1995- following overseas relocation.

The seller does not have a tube tester now , but all tubes were fine when placed in storage.

Rare opportunities . Sale of vintage hi-fi estate piecesI apologise for this long preamble , but some explanation may be necessary .
The preamble is often repeated in all my speaker ads , so can be ignored as you you search my other listings The seller is many listing antique /vintage pieces from an audiophile /hifi DIY enthusiast – most pre 1990s , much pre 1970s , some 1940-50sThere will be many vintage speaker /drivers and many speakers in rear loaded horn cabinets /other exotic cabinets .
Much of the vintage eectronics /valve amps etc have already been listed . There are components/ turntables/ arms /cartidges/ accessories to come
The purchaser relocated overseas for many years from the early 1990s and all of this stuff went into dry storage and is only being opened now.
The vintage drivers are now being returned to their original boxes .
Many of these pieces were already vintage when purchased in the 1970’s and many exotic speakers were also purchased direct from the leading edge suppliers in Japan (and Europe) -from the ‘golden age’ period.
Some Japanese sourced drivers also have light modications to achieve the ‘best practice ‘ performance of the time The purchaser was also highly technically proficient and designed and built many of the ‘full range’ horn loudspeakers which are offered -both small and large. Many of his former tractix horn design are currently offered on Ebay for many $x,000K.These complex cabinets and designs are beyond the constructional ability of many , but mostly have painted finishes rather than veneer . The boxes have now been stored (Drivers stored separately) for more than 25 years . Most could benefit from either external wood veneer (by buyer) or a rub down /coat of emulsion paint -to match your own decor.They are moslty hi-fi enthusiast pieces , for experimenting /refining / enjoying, rather than exotic furniture . Please bid as suchAll have been tested electronically and sonically . Any potential / known issues are listed in the ads
Starting auction prices are generally low , ~the market value of the drivers only – the boxes essentially come for free.
Many Australian /international bidders may only want the drivers (not boxes ) because of transport mailing costs .
This can often be accommodated , but the bid price will not change The seller is not the buyer and cannot discuss/debate any technical attributes of the pieces.
I also do not have the facilities to demonstrate any of these pieces

Owner lived in and worked all over China, Indo china and Asia from early 90’s, even when these places were politically very sensitive .He and made many purchases as early morning farmers market on the the outskirts of cities and villages during his travels .
I am not an expert in the age of these estate pieces so the photos serve as the descriptions.
This is one of many items that I will be selling over coming months. They are a part of the estate of a friend. As a result, I have no expertise on these items, which were largely purchased over last 25 plus years. This will include many Asian items purchased in the early 1990s when the owner lived /workedthroughout Asia. Been in storage since mid 2000s.
