it is an unfinished personal project that I started in 2004 and has since been abandoned.

It is however a potentially unique amp if you feel capable of completing it, or for parts for your own creation.
Everything in the pictures is included in this auction. The valves, transformers, valve sockets, components and the self built cases!
So, this is/was an online project known as a Trident 88 valve amplifier and there was also a Trident 66 (KT66 valves). The circuit and some construction information came from a website called livinginthepast audioweb co uk, however this project is not listed there any more but it could still be a source of help if needed. I cannot provide any help after it is sold as this project was a bit too much for me to tackle. The cases are made from MDF that have been veneered in cherry and the tops and bottoms were painted with black car paint. It was intended to be built as a separate PSU and amp setup using a connecting cable between them. Most of the components are there but I think some smaller bits and bobs may be needed. The last pictures shows a mock up of how it would look if finished.
The valves are 4 matched KT88 made by Valve Art, 4 6H8C unknown manufacturer, 1 5U4G by Sovtek. None of them have been powered up. The transformers and choke information is in the photos.
Everything will be sent in 4 boxes although if you do not want the cases (if you prefer to make your own), please me know as soon as possible BEFORE they are sent. The cost of the postage for the cases (in the 4th box)will be refunded if they are not wanted.
As this item is very heavy it can only be posted to a UK ADDRESS ONLY or through the Ebay Global Shipping Programme. It cannot be posted to overseas address with normal postage as it would cost a fortune.
