TRIO KA 8004 Classic Integared Amplifier in good condition and full working condition. Apart from the small chips in the wooden around the edges especially in the front and lower bottom in the back, it is in decent cosmetic condition for its ages(over 40 years old). It produces a very warm musical sound like a lot of the high quality amplifiers from the 1970s. Also, one switch is missing its extension but still can be operated – see photos.

From online review, see below.For your consideration is a true audiophile gem, the Kenwood KA-8004. I started with the KA-9100 and got this KA-8004 for my second system. Well after getting them both back to their factory spec I ended up keeping the KA-8004 as I felt it out performed the KA-9100 in overall sound. The KA-8004 was designed by the engineers who later formed Accuphase at the same time as the Supreme line, Kenwood’s best ever amplifiers. Build quality of the KA-8004 does approach the supreme line and is definitively better than the later KA-x100 series. I have compared this amplifier to Luxman R-1050, Sansui G-8000, Marantz 2270, and KA-9100. The KA-8004 came out on top with the most neutral and detailed yet non-fatiguing sound. Do not let the 55 watts/8 Ohm power rating fool you, the KA-8004 has no problem driving my big Kef References with ease. I have finally aquired a Kenwood 700M & 700C combo and would like to completely restore them so the KA-8004 is to be sold to fund the restoration.
Unlike many of the vintage Kenwood’s available this particular KA-8004 has been restored to factory specifications and is performing exactly as Kenwood intended. Rest assured that this unit will play beautiful sound for many years to come. If you are used to newer amps like stuff from Rega, Cambridge, NAD, Creek, you will be shocked at how much better an amplifier can sound, this thing will turn you to vintage gear! Also, the headphone out on the KA-8004 blows away most dedicated headphone amps under $300 and can drive even the most difficult phones. The phono stage is very good as is the pre-out if you wanted to use as a dedicated pre amp.
