Thorens TD124 high-mass, layered MDF plinth in satin black crafted by hand. The plinth comes with extended length stainless steel threaded rods and stainless steel threaded ball feet. The ball feet couple the turntable to the plinth via the rods which replace the original short mounting rods. (Coupling is the preferred method for mounting these turntables to high mass plinths whereas you would use the rubber mushrooms on the low mass plinths styles)
Also supplied are 4 wooden height adjusting feet couplers that fit the knurled knobs. These help to couple the turntable to the plinth and protect the surface from scratches.
Installation is straight forward. Simply replace the original threaded rods with those supplied and screw on the knurled height adjustment knobs. Line the rods up with the holes in the plinth and slide the turntable down. Screw on the new threaded ball feet. The turntable can be levelled by adjusting the knurled height adjusters and the ball feet. Once level, the ball feet should be screwed down firmly.
