Thorens TD124, MKii. This is a rare chance to acquire a beautiful example of this amazing turntable bought refurbished from leading Thorens experts in Switzerland, Schopper AG, in 2018:
Motor and chassis fully restored by Schopper.
New Schopper hollow plinth.
Recently replaced belt.
Original Thorens BTD12S tonearm serviced by Schopper and including Schopper lowering mechanism (original rather fiddly mechanical lowering mechanism included in case you want to revert!).
Original platter, bearing etc. all in superb working order.
Will include Ortofon MC-3 cartridge with a few hundred hours use on it. Works as a great combination with the turntable and original tonearm and is recommended by many Thorens experts.
Would prefer collection in person from East London given weight. But happy to discuss shipping!
