Theta DS Pro Basic IIIa DAC in Black; Single and Balanced inputs/outputs
My first DAC and owned by me from new, yes an oldie but a real Goldie. I ran it with a Theta CD player and the two together are just sublime. The DAC has a really smooth analogue-style presentation to the music
This was one of the later IIIA models and this model had even further improvement on the power supply side in particular. This is a genuine UK 240V model and not a US conversion.
There are quite a few reviews around but Stereophile’s review concluded:
