This is a Technics SL-BD22 Turntable SOLD AS SPARES OR REPAIRS.
Bad motor/IC gone bad. Intermittent motor and cuts out whenever. Most of the time motor will spin very slowly, sometimes works normally or not at all. Not diagnosed but am heading towards IC going bad as Technics had a name for their chips playing up in this era and when motor is tested directly it spins up fine. Please do your own tests before taking my word of IC gone bad as it could be bad motor with dead spots.
Body OK condition Technics badge on front has a chip missing.
Strobe light works.
I do not have a lid for this as I never got one from previous seller.
Includes:
Belt.
Stylus (could do with replacing – EPS-24CS).
Original ground cable.
Phono lead.
Power cable.
The spindle bearing spins freely and quietly and the platter spins for ages. Auto return works. Stylus is fine but could do with replacing.
