For sale is a fine example of the Technics SE-A909S stereo power amplifier in excellent condition. It’s been well looked after from new. It was paired with the Marantz AV7005 av processor (also for sale in due course) to power the front channels. Works beautifully. Only selling due to downsizing. This is a full size 430mm wide amplifier and is quite heavy.
I believe it is 120watts per channel but full specification sheets can be found online.
It has RCA input from a pre amp and A and B speaker output via 4mm banana plug or bare wire. You can connect a second pair of speakers to this amp for use in another room. If you already have a Technics pre amp you can power it from this amp. This amp works with SU-C909U. Please check that it will work with different Technics models. As this is a analogue amplifier you can connect any pre-amplifier via the RCA inputs. This amp has a built in fan for cooling but it is only activated when the output power exceeds 10watt per channel so fan noise isn’t an issue. The retro VU meters have a reel cool look and are fully functional. Meter lights have an on off switch but this only functions when connected to a matching Technics pre-amp.
This amp is in excellent used condition but has a few scratches on top of the unit and on the rear corner. Please see photos. Power cable is not pictured but is included. Also there is no manual and no original packaging.
As this is a heavy item collection is preferred but I am willing to post. Due to item weight and insurance the postage will be on the High side.
