Technics SL-J1 Linear tracking turntable from 1977 – 33/45 rpm – belt driven, recent stylus and belt fitted.
The turntable is in perfect working order, speeds are perfect, runs like clockwork and has been serviced regularly.
The only blemish is a tiny hairline crack on the plastic at the rear of the dust cover where the plastic meets the lid – see last picture. It has been like this since I bought it around 12 years ago and has not got any worse in that time with frequent use, it’s barely seen – otherwise, in excellent cosmetic condition with only some very slight wear to the dust cover – the main body of the turntable is also in excellent condition

Slightly smaller than “midi” size at 31cm x 8cm x 31cm, and heavy in weight for a turntable.
Comes with original user manual and all required leads – powered by a standard UK 3-pin plug.
Great thing in remarkable condition for a 41 year old turntable, totally reliable and has been lovingly cared for. will be sad to see it go.
Replacement belts and stylus readily available when required.
