SUPERB “HMV” VINTAGE RECORD PLAYER – TOP OF THE RANGE & PERFECT WORKING ORDERFROM BAKELITE_ED – 100% Feedback.This is a rare opportunity to purchase a 1968 top of the range vintage record player made by “HMV”; fully serviced & in perfect working order and excellent overall condition.With a performance that blows most Dansettes out of the water, this powerful “HMV” has a TRANSISTORISED amplifier with separate controls for ON/OFF, VOLUME, TREBLE & BASS. It has a sound that has to be heard to be believed for a 51 year old portable unit. LOUD, EXCELLENT SOUND; it is a joy to listen to.It has the deluxe BSR UA25 auto-changer with the metal platter and tubular tone-arm. It plays all four speeds, 16, 33, 45 & 78 and will load up to six records for auto-change, or records can be played manually. All correctly serviced & adjusted for future reliability.It has the original BSR stereo cartridge, complete with a newly fitted flip over LP/45 & 78 stylus.Cosmetically, it has been fully cleaned and is in EXCELLENT overall condition. The perfectionist should note some very slight indents to the padded lid (which should lift with time) and light edge wear in places but on the whole this is one of the best examples of this model I have seen for a long time. I believe it was a one owner from new record player that had been stored safely away for many years and it appears to have seen little use throughout its lifetime. If you want a record player that looks good and sounds amazing then look no further as this is a true quality British made record player from the swingin’ sixties – don’t miss it as they do not come along this good very often any more.It has a new three core, fully earthed mains lead and a new correctly fused mains plug and is ready to plug in and enjoy.It will come with a copy of the original instruction leaflet for the auto-changer, a copy of a period record player advertisement, printed information on stylus replacement, and a complimentary record to add to your collection.
