SUPERB “FERGUSON” VINTAGE RECORD PLAYER – FULLY SERVICED & PERFECT WORKING ORDERFully Serviced & in Perfect Working Order FROM KBElectronics52 – 100% Feedback.
This is a superb example of a “FERGUSON” vintage record player, from approx. 1969/70, that has been fully serviced and is offered in perfect working order and near mint condition.It has a solid state amplifier with rotary controls for ‘ON / OFF / TONE’ and ‘VOLUME’; the amplifier has been fully serviced with many new parts fitted for long term reliability. It is an excellent sounding unit, absolutely bags of volume – a really first class, clear, powerful output.It has a three speed “BSR C129″ auto-changer, which plays 33, 45 & 78 rpm. Up to six records can be stacked (either 7, 10 or 12”) or you can play records manually if preferred; again all working perfectly following the service.It has a genuine BSR stereo compatible cartridge & a brand new stylus for optimal performance.Cosmetically, it has been fully dismantled for careful and thorough cleaning and as you can see it is in excellent to near mint condition. The absolute perfectionist should note a couple of tiny marks to the aluminium trim on the bottom of the front panel & a couple of hairline scratches on the turntable itself, but for a near 50 year old item the condition is remarkable and you would have to go a long way to find one that matches it. In terms of both looks and performance it’s a first rate example – it would make a supreme Christmas gift.It has a three core, fully earthed mains lead and a correctly fused mains plug and is ready to plug in and enjoy.It will come with a copy of the original instruction leaflet for the auto-changer, a copy of a period record player advertisement, printed information on stylus replacement, and a complimentary record to add to your collection.
