For sale here are a pair of Spendor A5R Speakers. Condition is Used. They are Light Oak finish in beautiful condition, unmarked, as new. I can see no marks on them.
I have used these with a Primare i30 amplifier to great effect: they are a lovely sounding pair of speakers. To my ear they produce a natural and detailed sound with no fatigue on the ear after lengthy listening sessions. These were very well reviewed speakers and a big improvement over the original Spendor A5 design.
Being a sealed design with no bass port they are very versatile in terms of positioning: they can be placed close to a rear wall without adversely effecting bass response.
Only selling as I am moving home and my listening room will be much smaller in space.
The speakers come with original grilles, spikes, instructions, boxes and packing materials.
Being a heavy (18kg each) and fairly large item I would prefer local collection. Cash, bank transfer or PayPal acceptable.
However I am willing to courier the speakers but they will need to be fully insured and hence the cost will be fairly high. The buyer can also arrange their own courier if preferred.
