Sony TC-K611S Cassette DeckVery good cosmetic condition apart from a couple of scratches at the rear of the lid, BUT :The cassette holder opens and closes .The tape sensor, counter, Dolby B, C, & S and other electronic functions appear to work fine – see photos.When it was donated to us the transport didn’t work at all so we have replaced the capstan belt, which was perished away – the assist belt seems fine and it’s a much fiddlier job! We will include the new unused assist belt.Since re-assembly, the motor is quiet and the flywheel spins smoothly. The FF & RW functions and Stop function work but not always and the counter works.Play function still doesn’t work and occasionally issues a screeching noise so it sounds like something is out of line in the mechanism.In view of the above this item is offered as spares or repair and is sold as seen.
