2nd and final motherboard coming from a unit with power issues which has been traced to a dead power microprocessor on the display board.
So I’ve tested all diodes and none are shorted, also tested the white resistors and all are in range. I’ve also tested the 2 voltage regulators and these are also not shorted or open. And finally I have gone through the board with the soldering iron and fixed some dry/cracked joints and re-flowed those.
While I have a high percentage confidence that the board is fine since these don’t tend to go faulty as easily (its other parts which fails), I cannot test it, and hence I’ve priced it the same you would pay to get a set of 10 Genuine Sanken transistors, which is just under 20. No returns, on this understanding and agreement.
You can collect from Epsom in Surrey KT19 and I will leave the board in the casing with heatsink, and you can easily transfer all your other bits and re-build the amp. Otherwise I will supply the motherboard only, with the 5 bias transistors, with the vertical board with the 5.1 analog input (top right on photo), and any wiring connection within the board, and without heatsink to save weight and postage cost. No other wiring connectors which disconnects to other parts will be supplied, but if you need anything specific, ask me and if I can supply I will.
I also have a MINT silver aluminium fascia with volume knob, without display board, to list on ebay shortly, to refresh someone’s unit. Again if collecting I will supply with the silver top cover for free. If you want this part together with the board, contact me to agree a price.
I have a Digital Board also which I am unable to test due to the failed microprocessor on the Display Board. This will be listed as faulty for spares cheaply. See my other listings.
