Sony STR-DB1080 110 Watts per channel amp receiver Inc remote and manual, very good working condition.
Hefty 14kg amp with up to five channels outputting 110watts each plus sub woofer out. Excellent FM AM STEREO tuner with loads of presets, plenty of analog and digital inputs including a phono analog in for turntables.
Really good meaty sound with lots of detail and dynamic range.
This is an old school home cinema amp, and has various dolby DTS and other digital sound processing options, but since it doesn’t offer HDMI forget AV use and best consider it a powerful and versatile stereo or 2.1 amp with the option of surround sound or bi amping. As such it’s a great hub for a home HiFi system and much cheaper than equivalent stereo separates, especially since it comes with a dedicated learning remote.
The remote can definitely change sources and volume, but I haven’t been able to work out what other functions it can control as it’s quite complicated, so consider it as possibly not fully working. All essential features including radio presets can be operated / programmed via the front panel buttons on the amp.
