SONY ST-5055L – *CLASSIC BEAUTIFUL _*3 BAND TUNER (FM/MW/LW). *SEE ALL PHOTOS.Note delivery dates.-Audio Room :- *On the front FM, MW, (on the ST-5055L model additionally LW), MONO switch, MUTING switch (for interstation noise reduction) and HI-BLEND switch (reduces the noise level by blending high frequency components of the left and right channels, while leaving the remaining frequencies unchanged). *On the rear panel there is an AC input, voltage switch, antenna connectors for bare and fork-terminated wires, a built-in/external AM antenna switch, as well as output sockets. There are 2 sets of these sockets; those marked FIXED supply a constant level signal, while the sockets marked VARIABLE supply a signal, whose level can be adjusted with potentiometers next to these sockets!!*This is a very beautiful, vintage tuner. For many, it epitomes a Vintage Classic Tuner. Some reckon this to quite likely be the most attractive classic looktuner. All display lights were replaced with exact equivalents to replicatethe ‘original vintage’ look. It is in exceptional used condition. The (unmarked) cabinet is reallysmart, as is the face plate and all solid, turned aluminium switches andcontrol knobs.Sound isreally good, drawing in strong FM signals with just a wire attached and, a nearmaximum signal with an external aerial fitted. Infact, I was able to pull in a clear stereo signal without an antenna (in mybasement too).
