Various a/d/s speakers and other assorted modern and vintage equipment. This turntable has run flawlessly, silently and without problems for 34 years. I listen to records I have collected from the late 50’s to now. My music ranges from classical, to opera, to jazz to the Beatles and Aretha. I think it would take an ear much finer than mine to find fault with this turntable and I expect it to keep turning away, reproducing great music for a long time to come.In its particular segment, this was Sony’s top model.More than almost any other record player, it carries complete, full automationincluding features like: lead in, return, reject, repeat, record size selection- shared with only the very best of Sony’s turntables (biotracer series etc. -known mainly by audiophiles and still, costing many hundreds of pounds). Theunit quite unfortunately shares the same appearance as the lesser Sony PS-T22 andsimilar and so, often is not spotted/recognised as the brilliant machine it is. A brief reading of the specification sheet, will showits performance capabilities, far exceed the standard of ‘consumer grade’record players. As expected, sound is brilliant. This unit is perfect for a vinyl enthusiast seeking a superior quality turntable.On the few occasions, we have encounteredthis machine in other locations,…as above, they always were linked to superiorquality audio components that cost many thousands. Condition of this turntableis superb. Bar expected minor marks from usage, it is almost new by appearance. Thelid is exceptionally clear. The platter is brilliantly shiny – as is thetonearm and all associated switchgear. See all photos.
