I’m selling a Sony DAT cassette deck / deck, model DTC-690.
One essential item is missing from this deck, the cassette transport / playback mechanism (model DATM-102).
The electronics are working smoothly, so just install the transport and this deck will work normally again.
The drawer is secured with tape only because it must be attached to the transport mechanism. There is nothing broken in this part.
I can send the service manual of this device in pdf.
