The CD Player Has Been Serviced Recently With a New Laser Lens And it is In Perfect Working Condition.
As expected from a used item there is some scratches on the casing all around, the front top panel was covered with leather like sticker to cover some scratches and it’s actually looks much better than before.
This Superb Sony CD Player can play CDs like a High End CD player.To my ears the sound signature of this CD player is neutral, detailed, with wide and large soundstage.
The big surprise for me was the the built in Headphones amplifier, I’m not a “Headphones person” but I tried the headphones output as part of my “after the service” tests and I was amazed by it’s sound and power, to my opinion it’s something that usually reserved for much more expensive external Headphones amplifiers….but it’s built in this SUPERB CD Player.
From my experience this Sony CD Player sound will match or exceed a higher priced CD players in the market despite it’s low price tag.
