Here we have an icon in the world of high end hi fi. The Sony CDP-101 compact disc player was, in 1982, the very first commercially sold top quality compact disc player and is much sort after today by collectors and hi fi enthusiasts alike. This 1983 model, complete with original Sony remote commander RM-101, has been kept boxed in dry storage for over 25 years and it’s overall condition reflects this. The casing is in excellent condition as are the controls. The player has just been serviced by a hi fi specialist at a cost of 75, (receipt included) and is fully functional. Grab yourself a piece of music history with this extremely rare hi fi icon which is a sound investment in more ways than one. Sorry about the postage cost but be aware this is a heavy piece of kit and will be well protected for the buyer.
