This is our ex-demonstration pair of Sonus Faber Olympica 2 loudspeakers in the walnut finish. They are in very good condition with just minor wear as would be expected for their age.
We have the original packaging and accessories. We orignially purchased these in April 2014.
One of the best looking speakers available today. The Olympica 2 is a refined and complete floor standing speaker system that encases tradition and innovation.
Sonus faber wanted to create a family of speakers rich in content but also evocative of those visual and tactile emotions that have always characterized its production. Thus, wood, leather timeless craftsmanship values of careful and passionate production, able to make anyone understand the sincere love for their work and Music. The Sonus faber Olympica project is made up of a family of passive acoustic speakers that will add to the existing catalogue of the Arcugnano factory, aesthetically characterised by the use of two iconic Sonus faber noble materials, walnut wood and leather.
Like a musical instrument, The wood undergoes a long aging phase before reaching the final stability and being used for the cabinet construction of our high-end loudspeaker as it happens for the musical instruments creation.
The search for the highest sophistication in acoustics, the artistic and aesthetic investigation linked to classicism, the look towards the modern knowledge: these are the main factors that link Olympica with the grandiose work of Andrea Palladio, which has been the inspiration in its creation and evolution.
In a stereo or multichannel system, Olympica II serves Music with a charming personality.
