SME 3009 Series II Tonearm – Early Split Counterweight Version An excellent early example of the 9 SME Series II tonearm from the 60s.
It has the more attractive two part counterweight allowing you to move them independently of each other, the rare and lighter black middle weight is made of aluminium and weighs 18g..
Its in rather lovely condition as you can see from the pictures – one of the nicest I’ve ever seen – the arm tube is nice and shiny and the controls all work as they should, in particular the dashpot lowers slow and smooth. It comes with a nice looking output lead with RCA outputs as well as a brochure.
