Sansui SR-323 Turntable & Nagaoka MP11 Cartridge/Stylus The Sansui SR-323 Hi-Fi Turntable employsa minimalist Japanese design opting for a belt drive system and a very wellconstructed, plinth. The SR-323s design is partnered with avery well engineered and special Sansui tonearm. The Sansui main tonearmbearing, which allows lateral movement, moves smoothly in a curved arc. The arm itself and horizontal bearing pins,which show no visible signs of wear, with the solid Sansuiknife-edge bearing support as intended. A Sansui rider weight features to the left hand side which canbe adjusted if required, as original. The original Sansui cantilevered bias pulley arrangement iscomplete! Coming with original bias weight which allows gentle anti-skatingadjustment, which is adjusted alonga central rod with a series of notches on the very well designed arm. The original Sansui Headshell,features a four gold pin connector, which mates with the arm tube which lockswith the chrome-coloured arm collar. Therecord deck has been partnered with the celebrated Nagaoka MP11 Cartridge &Stylus. The 4-pole synchronous motor provides highly accurate and stablespeed and revolves with minimum vibration. Speed is switched with the 33/45 selectorwhich jogs the belt up or down a notch on the pulley, while the platter is inmotion.
This Sansui SR-323 is a wonderful Japanese turntable with a well engineered and beautiful tonearm fitted with a perfect Japanese counterpart in the celebrated Nagaoka MP11 which has plenty of wear left in the stylus.
