SANSUISR-222 MKIV,  *BEAUTIFUL PIANO BLACK TURNTABLE + *ORIGINAL SHIPPING BOX. *SEE ALL PHOTOS. Glorious lookingvintage turntable has with somewhat legendary status. Piano black is indeed the exact colour for it. Many have compared this to the Rega Planar 2/3. We believe it tobe superior. This is truly a thing of beauty. For anybody who appreciates or admiresprecision engineering then this is, a very fine example of that exacting skill.Besides being arguably the most beautiful turntable ever made, sonically manyreckon it really comparable to the very best. Even in this fine state, there still is by educatedopinion scope for tweaking internally with better RCA cables, power cord, capacitor improvements etc. This machine holds its own among the very best. We are thesecond owners. Condition is very good. Plinth, platter, Tone Arm etc. are beautiful. The unit does on close examination, carry fine marks. All this is inthe main of little consequence, not particularly visible and also, since here itwas always polished to a high degree, always impressing everybodywith striking good. With no further production, this is more or less arare and near irreplaceable machine. Sharp and more elegant than anything elsearound – looks are indeed matched by impeccable performance. Please See AllPhotos. REVIEWS: vinylengine –  *-shmaeilk: A great deck. I bought it second hand, the MK IV model, and with a Shure M95ED or an ELAC ESG 795 cartridge, it sounds great. The piano black gloss is surprisingly gorgeous, the plinth is very solid and I have never felt any motor hum even after 8 hours playing music non-stop.*- totalcomfort: Overall great for the money. I got mine second hand in like new shape. Just getting back into vinyl, and am very pleased with it so far.*- kibblebob: Sounds very clean and neutral, one of my better buys.*- biggerrab: Hi, I have owned my SR222 MkIV from new – It is a decent deck with a well-engineered tonearm. SPECIFICATIONS: vinylengineType: two-speed, belt-drivenSpeeds: 33 and 45rpmPlatter: 308mm aluminium alloy die-castMotor: 4-pole synchronousWow and flutter: less than 0.03% Rumble: 68dBTonearm: statically balanced, straight arm Overhang: 16mm Cartridge weight: 4 to 9.5g Dimensions: 490 x 175 x 385mm One-touch power/speedlever mechanismTripod motor suspension systemDiamond-cut Die-cast aluminium platterSensitive S-shaped or straight pipe tonearm withacoustic absorbent dampingSlimline cabinet with particle board constructionInduced magnet Sansui cartridgeNote: This item carries invisible security markings, inside and out.
