I’m an audio enthusiast selling surplus items from time to time. This is my Rotel RSP-1576 processor (UK and EU model) which I bought new from a well-known Rotel dealer in London in February but which I have hardly used. The price at the time was 2,095 but they are currently very hard to find in the UK.
The item comes virtually as new in its original box with all original packaging and all original accessories, some of which have not yet been taken out of their packets. The unit has only been handled with white cotton gloves and the remote control has been kept inside a plastic bag to prevent any fingerprints.
This is Rotel’s latest model processor with 12 output channels, 4K, Dolby Atmos, DTS-X and various other state-of-the art features. Please see Rotel’s website for the full specification. A rack mounting kit (unused) is included in the box.
Please note that this is an AV processor, not an AV receiver, meaning it does not have any amplifiers. You will need a separate amplifier to use it.
Reason for sale: I was previously using an Anthem receiver and I’ve grown accustomed to the way Anthem does things so I’ve decided to stick with Anthem and trade up to their AVM 60 processor. The Rotel is a very fine product which I like very much and would happily recommend – I like Rotel and in my opinion this unit offers better value for money than the Anthem processor but I’m used to the Anthem’s features.
I’m not sure what warranty Rotel offers on the RSP-1576 but in the extremely unlikely event of any warranty claim, I will give whatever help may be necessary until 15 February 2020 provided the buyer meets all costs arising, including shipping costs.
