Good working order: no load or eject problems, all buttons present work and display works, plays well and sounds great. Open and Close button missing but the function works fine if you don’t mind putting your finger in the hole- if you do get a pencil with a rubber on the end! If you have a Rotel remote- no problem!
Classic mid market CD Player from Rotel (300 in 1991) which had the “giant killer” label attached to it by reviewers who claimed it was better than anything under 1000 when first released. It is a heavy, well built machine with a heavy case. Uses the swing arm type Philips CDM 4/19 transport with tray open/close drive cog and belt in good condition and a twin bitstream 1bit SAA7323GP DACs. This is one of those machines which is beloved of tweakers who find all sorts of mods to extend its performance.
