Roksan Nima Unipivot Tone-arm.
Bought from the UK distributor to try out. Wonderful fluid sound and for those who love Unipivot tone-arms incredible value as even a cheap secondhand 30 year old Naim ARO sells for 3 times the price nowadays, if and when they come up.
This is a very clever design from Touraj who went on to found Vetrere Audio after selling his interest in Roksan. His later Vertere Unipivot looks very nice but like the Naim ARO is rather more expensive than a Nima.
The Nima is considered a bargain as when set up properly does far more than it’s very modest price would suggest.
The arm for sale here was on one of our LP12’s for a test and then was re-boxed. It is as new.
It comes with all parts and has a very comprehensive fitting manual. It will fit a Rega cut LP12 armboard and of course can be fitted to other turntables as well as an LP12 with the right arm-board.
Please note if you are cack handed and a mechanical clutz this isn’t for you so please don’t buy as we are not going to wet nurse. This should be bought by someone with the right aptitude, patience and skill.
The photo’s show it just as it left the factory. One or two closeups show some grains from the black packing and this isn’t dirt.
