This auction is for a near mint pair of Rogers LS1 mini monitors, dating from the mid-80s. They are not to be confused with the later LS1, which are not as good.
These were the smallest model in a range which also included the LS5 (also very rare), LS7 and Studio 1. In my opinion each model was a leader in it’s class, and these are no exception. I have owned (or still own) all the speakers in this series, my favourite being the large Studio 1.
Serial # ST2576A/B.
They are in astonishingly good condition. I doubt whether you will ever find a superior pair.
They sound superb, as you would expect from a Rogers monitor. Rogers also held a license to manufacture the LS3/5A for the BBC.
