This is an auction for a lovely used pair of Rogers GS3 Monitor speakers. They are a British designed speaker dating from the 80s. They are a small/medium sized bookshelf speaker which would also suit stand mounting. They are a 2 way design with a rear facing reflex port. I believe they are from the last UK manufactured range of speakers made by Rogers.
They are well made speakers, and suitable for bi-wiring. These speakers are very heavy for their size!
In good condition for vintage speakers, the cabinets are in good condition, with just a few small marks here and there (please see pictures). The bi-wire terminals on one speaker have been replaced. The undersides have marks and scratches where they have been moved on and off of stands over the years.
The drive units are all fully working as they should.No refurbishment of any type has been carried out.
They sound sublime, as you would expect from a well designed high quality 1980’s British speaker system. They seem to disappear, allowing you to get on with the business of enjoying the music. They convey a great sense of rhythm and timing. They are also completely non-fatiguing, so can be enjoyed for hours on end!

These speakers are medium in size but heavy and therefore will be shipped in a double walled carton, specially packed to withstand the courier service, tracked and fully insured.
