This upgrade sub-platter and bearing was an upgrade replacement for an Rega Planar 3 original sub-platter and bearing. This upgrade was purchased in October 2016, cost 82.
There is oil in the bearing and there is a small amount of oil remaining as supplied with bearing.
It was part of a heavily upgraded early 1980’s Rega Planar 3 turntable. I thought it unlikely that whole modified turntable was of interest, but the the component parts would be.
All the components are available on ebay.
The sub-platter and bearing were supplied by Fidelity Designs Ltd. The sub-platter upgrade is for a Rega Planar 2, 3, P25, P78 & Rega P2, P3, Rega P3-P4Please note this bearing/sub-platter upgrade is not suitable for RP1/P1 and will not fit the newer 20116/2017 designs.For further details see link below,
