Stunning and collectable example of all original early Rega Planar 3 (around 1982). Features include:Original RB200 tone armUpgraded P77 cartridge (original supplied too)Upgraded Rega drive belt (original supplied too)Anti-static cleanerAnti-skate still good (see video)No PSU upgrade as simply not needed – very consistent RPM with the upgraded drive belt (original, included, had lost elasticity as you’d expect but with new one plays extremely well). You can measure it if you want.
ConditionIncludes original boxes and manuals. Only two owners (myself for a few months and then original owner since new). I’m only selling because I’ve bought a CD player instead (more suitable for me). A bit of dust on it and you can see where I’ve tried to polish a bit but it’s in pristine condition.
TestingFeel free to come and listen/test before you buy (I have it hooked up to a Musical Fidelity V-LPSii phono stage going into my full house Sonos). I have a few vinyls you can listen to.
CollectionLondon, N22 (Wood Green/Alexandra Palace) COLLECTION ONLY due to delicate nature of turntables – I’m very close to Alexandra Palace rail station and Wood Green tube (and I have on-street parking).
