Used in good condition. Both speakers sound great! Just as they should. A fine example of what these speakers should sound like. One speaker has had the upgraded One Thing Audio EHT board fitted, would recommend that the 2nd speaker is also upgraded as it helps distribute power.
Even by todays standard, these speakers are simply astonishing! Wide transparent sound. The stereo sound stage it just stunning. I work in the recording industry and have access to premium studio monitors and have to say that the Quads easily compare with 10,000 speakers minus the low end.
Quad Electrostatic speakers are considered to be some of the finest sounding ever made. The sound is perfectly wide which allows the frequencies to be separated for clarity, transparent so you hear sound in such great detail. The speakers are an absolute joy and treat especially listening to acoustic music like classical, jazz or early rock.These are vintage, circa 1974 I think, so will no doubt have cosmetic signs of that factor. The legs and power cables are not supplied as thy were lost but if you need some, contact me and I’ll try and find you some.
