Take the hugely successful, award-winning 3000 (5.1) system, give it slightly bigger cabinets cabinets, plus new attractive English Walnut, Carbon Black and Arctic White finishes, then load it with technology derived from Q Acoustics’ flagship ‘Concept 500 Speaker’ – and you’ve got yourself the sensational new 3010I (5.1) system!
All the highly praised features from the 3000 series are there, including beautifully-made compact cabinets, plus clever wall brackets and dedicated stands, plus reworked versions of the 3000’s drivers. The bass driver features military grade Aramid fibre in its construction, whilst the tweeter is a hybrid dome design, which is acoustically isolated from the front baffle via a decoupling ring, for improved clarity. This years models have been improved with Point-to-Point (P2P) bracing techniques, designed to reduce cabinet vibration, plus new custom designed close fitting binding posts. The old subwoofer has been replaced with a new slimline sub, the 3060s featuring a 200mm driver and a powerful 150W amplifier, the new sub is also wall mountable using the optional Q60WB wall bracket.
