Unlike many other turntables around this price,the Pro-Ject Essential 2 has all the elements of a proper hi-fi turntable -just at a lower price. The deck has a new motor control making it quieter andminimises unwanted vibrations. The main bearing is made from stainless steeland runs within a bronze bushing with a Teflon coating. This type of buildintegrity is usually reserved for much more expensive designs and gives theEssential 2 a remarkable precision of sound.
Single piece aluminium tone-arm
Continuing its hi-fi credentials, the Pro-JectEssential II is supplied with a good quality tone-arm. Made from a single pieceof aluminium, it’s both light and rigid.
