Small in size, big on sound
Using genuine hi-fi separate components in a compact casing gives the Pioneer XC-P01DAB the best of both worlds. With a substantial 75W per channel it’s more powerful than typical mini systems, and has ample power to drive speakers to surprisingly high levels. A dynamic and clear sound is assured by the Class D amplification with simplified circuit design.
Engineered for superior sound
To ensuring the separation and realism of sound, Pioneer has taken further steps with the amplifier design. The power supply and pre-amplifier block are separated for reduced interference, and the power transformer is isolated to negate the effects of distortion. This attention to detail shows in the Pioneer’s crisp, detailed and highly nuanced sound quality.
Comprehensive connectivity
With both analogue (two pairs of RCA phonos) and digital (optical and coaxial) inputs, it’s a simple process to connect up your system. For added bass, you’ll also find a dedicated subwoofer output. As a further nod to its hi-fi credentials, the Pioneer XCP01DAB uses gold-plated, 4mm speaker binding posts for the best cable connection possible.
CD player with USB
It may be small, but the matching Pioneer CD player has the sonic ability to match many full-size CD players. A high precision DAC and simplified circuit design provides an open, detailed and dynamic sound. The CD player also features a front-mounted USB socket, which can be used to connect your iPod, iPhone, or USB memory stick (MP3 or WMA files). The benefit of this over a built-in dock for iPhone 5 users is that it’s fully compatible with the Lightning connector.
