PIONEER PL-12D *SERVICED*, SUPERB CLASSIC TURNTABLE+ CARTRIDGE. SEE PHOTOSFrom my collecion.Pioneer PL-12D – This machine almost single-handedly re-wrote the book on what a fineaudiophile turntable should at minimum be. It is belt drive, on a sturdychassis, with full suspension, all minimum requirements to lay claim to being – audiophile standard. Condition is used but very, very smart.These are exceptionally rare to find in this condition. We used the machinewith a`Classic Marantz amplifier but also on occasions via an Icon Valve amplifiertoo. The machine is perfectly fine and offers excellent sound as is, but as many will testify also responds very well to higher qualitycartridges too.This is very fine record player – has been serviced andexceptionally well cared for. Not much can go wrong and normally doesnt. PL-12D is a really good choice forone who has (re)discovered music on vinyl or needs a second turntable/set-up.And it could work well as a primary turntable for a mid-priced set-up also.E-Man: I’ve had my PL-12DII for morethan 30 years.
