The Pioneer Exclusive M5, released in Japan in 1982 during the Japanese Golden Era of high-fidelity audiophile equipment, is a sleek, high-performance monophonic power amplifier that became a best-seller, due to its phenomenal reputation. Although the face of this amp appears basic, the circuitry is advanced, with the rated power clocking in at a whopping 300 W (8 ohms). According to Pioneer, the philosophy behind this unit was to produce an amplifier for getting drunk with music. It features ultralinear non-NFB circuitry that is absent of crossover or switching distortion, thanks to its pure Class A operation. By virtue of its high build quality and outstanding sound, the Pioneer Exclusive M5 is a very well-regarded unit among audiophiles. This sale includes a pair of them, for stereo amplification.
This unit is in very good condition, with limited aging, including a few minor scratches and cracks on the corners , there are few dents on the net . (please see photos).This amplifier has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, who has confirmed its
