Pioneer A-400 amplifier.
Any information you need on this amplifier just Google if you don’t already know.
It won a few awards back in the day.
This Pioneer amp was the first amplifier i ever owned & was pricey back in 1992, 280 if i remember correctly.
Considering the age of the amplifier,in my opinion i would say its in very good condition for being 26 years old.
It does have 4 faint marks from the rubber feet on the top of the amplifier where another seperate component sat.
These may clean of.

Only issue is and i have been told this is due to dust build-up,slight crackling sound from the left channel when turning the volume up or down.
*only when turning the volume up or down,does not affect the sound quality when the volume control is not moved*
This actually started not long after the warranty finished and never got any worse.
The amplifier has not been used in the last 6 years,as i purchased a smaller compact all in one unit.
The amplifier has been stored safely ever since then.
I have tested the amplifier on all inputs except from the phono input as i don’t have a turntable & never connected one to it.
**Due to the weight and cost of posting collection in person would be preferable**I would also discount the item postage wise if collected in person.
