For sale is a used Philips CDR 870 CD Recorder with the original remote control.
I bought this new, used it for less than 2 years and then packed it away. It is, in my opinion, in very good condition.
The front flap for the cd tray was broken off by friend’s child when they visited but apart from that it has no other damage.
This unit plays CDs as well as records CDs.
I connected it to a Marantz CD 67SE CD player (using an optical cable) to make copies of my CDs to keep in the car. It copied them perfectly and they sounded as if they were the originals.
If I can find the optical cable I’ll include it – but cannot guarantee I will find it.
I took it out of its storage place to photograph and there are absolutely no scratches or dents that I can see. It has been very, very, well looked-after (apart from the CD tray cover from that errant child!).
As with all my HiFi components I am selling, I used it for a short period and then stored it in a cupboard in the bedroom when the kids were born.
Collection only (but see below).
On collection it will be demonstrated as far as possible for the buyer’s peace of mind. We’ll have to work out how to do that with social distancing.
I much prefer cash on collection.
If you want this delivered to you then I might (not certain) accept you arranging your own courier – we would need to discuss. You would need to accept all liabilities for it once it is collected by your chosen courier and payment would have to be via bank transfer, not PayPal. This option does not allow you to inspect it before collection and I really would prefer the buyer to inspect it.
