PHILIPS 202 -CLASSIC, *SERVICED* TURNTABLE+ PHILIPS CART/SYLUS. SUPERB. *SEE ALL PHOTOS.{**reubensm – Still looking at this turntable, the build quality is simply amazing. One can never get to see such quality in the new turntables available today (at a similar or even higher price point)!!}Brilliant Brushed Steel/Aluminium/Wood Vintage Turntable. Philipsdipped in and out of High End Audio, producing SOME breath taking, and often just ‘ORDINARY’ audio pieces. This Philips 202 Electronic Turntable falls into the category, of somewhat Rare, Little Known but still brilliant and by many opinions, designed tocompete against Thorens best Efforts. Internally they do look much like Thorensin construction and technology, but none of this should take away from the factthat this on its own is a lovely machine – looks and sound. It is very wellmade and in its life enjoyed two services (Most recent 10 months ago). New belts, replacement Cartridge and styli Condition is very good. The lid bar finescratches, is full solid and complete. The wooden plinth is excellent, platterperfect, platter mat unblemished and all bright-work complete and sparkly. This is an excellent machine that looks good and sounds brilliant. Will reallylook good among quality equipment. *See All Photos.hifivision – analogadikt (edited) – It is a suspended subchassis type belt driveturntable. It is almost on par with the more famous Thorensand AR turntables. You have to ensure that the transport locking screws arecompletely backed off and the subchassis is floating free. Check the belt. With some tweaks this tt can be as good as any Thorens or AR.vinylengine – trev 57 – I have a 212, which is basically the touchbutton/ end of record turn off version of what you have. The Philips is as good if not better than the pioneer, the Philips can fetch 150 plus indecent nick but they look cool and sound cool so why sell it.Description vinylengineThe Philips GA202 is a 3-speed, belt driven turntable system with pitchcontrol.Drive method: belt driveVoltage: 110, 127, 220, 240V ACMains frequency: 50 or 60HzPower: 3.5 wattsSpeeds: 33, 45 and 78rpmPitch control: +-2%Tracking force: 1 to 4gDimensions: 390 x 330 x 120mmNote: This item carries invisible security markings, inside and out.
