For sale is Parasound C/DP-1000 CD Player
It has quality parts like Rubycon and Nichicon capacitors throughout. It features Burr-Brown PCM-67U DAC and Sanyo SF-90 mechanism
– very reliable and found in many 1st class players like
Roksan, Audio Alchemy, Burmaster, Carver, C.E.C. Classe, Krell to name just a few.This player had a number of minor faults when first arrived at my workshop.
To start with the CD drawer would not come out and replacing stretched a drive belt fixed this.
Secondly, there was no audio in right channel which was due to polystyrene capacitor being short circuit.
Lastly, some retrofitted audiophile capacitors were removed as they were axial instead of radial and could have
broken themselves off the board causing failure in transport or times ahead.
