This basically works, but as per a common fault with this model, the HDMI board is faulty. In practice, the HDMI connections can be used to connect a TV, DVD player etc, but HDMI connections take about 30 minutes or a little more to warm up. Until then, no signal will be noticed.
Everything else is fine – so connections can be made with RCA, composite and component cables etc. The unit has a coaxial imput and 2x optical inputs for digital signals which support surround sound.
The only thing that doesn’t work as designed is the HDMI board, but even then, it’ll work after the unit has been powered up for a short while.
