A superb Japanese integrated amp!
Description
The Onkyo Integra A-917RV2 is a vintage high-fidelity control amplifier that was released in Japan in 1994. The A-917RV2, based on the A-917RV, incorporates Onkyos constant current bias technology, which improves the expressiveness of the music. This circuitry improves the accuracy of the differential amplifier in the voltage amplification stage by using an ultra-precise constant current in the bias circuit as the reference. The driver transistor enables excellent linearity, and Onkyos proprietary linear switching circuitry in the final stage eliminates zero cross distortion (in a Class AB scheme). There are numerous other innovations in this amp which serve to significantly improve the sound quality. All in all, the Onkyo Integra A-917RV28 remains a superb integrated amp to this day. Dont miss it!
