NAKAMICHI DR3 STEREO CASSETTE TAPE DECK. No leads or other accessories supplied. This auction is just for the cassette deck pictured. No original packaging but will be packed for safe shipping.Circa early 90s working cassette deck. This one is a UK 240V supply. The metal lid has the original paint showing signs of use of the years, such as feet marks and a very minor indentation to the back left corner. Its not obvious as it can only be seen from certain angles but for full disclosure I like to point out any imperfections however minor. The facia and top edge look very clean with only a couple of pin hole size marks where its been touched in with black enamel paint. There are a couple of small scratches visible on the plexiglas window.The Black aluminium face plate is excellent condition apart from the tip of the top right corner which has a speck of black paint matched in. Only one previous owner before me acquiring it 2 years ago. Ive run it since without any faults. Just carrying out usual servicing like cleaning heads, pinch roller and capstan ass well as a demag once a month. The belts were previously changed by the last owner. As its been running spot on using a 3khz test tape I havent bothered carrying out any In depth refurbishment. The heads look like the machine has had a very easy life with no signs of wear visible. No need to mention how smoothly the transport operates given its a Nak. Whilst on my ownership it has proven to be a solid reliable machine which performed as it should.
